Web site planning
- Identifying your intended audience.
- set clear objectives 
- designing the structure of your web site
    Logical structure
    Physical structure
- Layout design of the web site
- preparing material for web pages

Web site building, select suitable platform
- build own web server. (real server, Virtual machine)
- rent a web server (usually an Virtual machine, you can configure network setting, security etc)
- rent a services plan (OS, web server software, Language support, DB support)

- CMS (Content Management System) e.g. Joomla. 

Traditional way of building web pages
Using tools such as Dreamweaver, notepad++

Point to note
Categorizing the content (Logical structure and layout)
Avoid lengthy page - using Anchor (bookmark)
Resize your photo before adding to your web sites.It can shorten the response time of web pages.
Keep your web site updated
Links inside your web should be relative paths

Web site publishing
- using FTP, sFTP
- using CMS, update online
- using Google site. update online.

Demonstration: Using KompoZer in Portable Apps. Note the following:
- Site Setting, Passive mode preferred for smooth connection. Avoid blocking by Firewall
- configure the way connect to server (FTP, sFTP)
